Today Eliza's School celebrated the anniversary of Dr. Seuss's Birthday and "Read Across America" with a Green Eggs and Ham Breakfast. It was fun. A local restaurant served the food and other companies donated books and hats for the first graders. Eliza kept telling me before the breakfast that it was just food coloring that made the eggs green. As you can see the eggs are really green! Even though she had tried to convince herself it was just food coloring she couldn't bring herself to touch the eggs. She did eat the GoGurt, banana and OJ. When I first got there Eliza didn't want to wear the hat she was given because of the color. ( I think it was because she thought it was a boy color) So she had me wear it.

We had a good time. After the Breakfast we went back to her class and read the new book she got and "Surprise"a story Eliza wrote. Afterwards, I took Eliza out of school and we went at had some real lunch and just goofed for awhile.
