Quick Update on Mary's Pimple

I thought we were going to be okay this morning while we were getting ready for school, Mary hadn't even mentioned the pimple and it was very tiny almost gone. So I didn't say anything. While we fixing her hair, all of a sudden she gets real close to the mirror and says "OH NO it's still there!"

What I say what's still there? (playing dumb)

"My pimple, I can't go to school now!"

I had to convince her that you could barely see it and put some medicine on it. That seemed to work! And off to school she went. Happy as a clam!

Mary's Pimple

Okay totally hilarious Mary Scarlet came to me just a tiny bit ago with a question.

"Mom what is this on my face?" as she points to an area of inflammation on her cheek with a tiny whitish spot in the middle.

I tell her "it looks like a zit."

She exclaims "WHAT is a ZIT?"

I tell her it is the spot on her cheek.

She starts to cry, "I can't have a zit. Why do I have a zit?"

I don't know I tell her maybe because you chew on your hair all the time and the germs from your mouth got on your cheek and gave you a zit.

"NO, NO, NO, I can't go to school with a ZIT!"

Yes, it's true I wasn't lying she is dramatic! VERY DRAMATIC! We had

to clean and medicate the pimple and almost put a band aide on it. But Mary decided having a band aide on it may draw more attention. Having a zit is very traumatic at 5 I guess!

My Mary Scarlet!

This is seriously my princess for sure! She is so dramatic and you just have to laugh and give her a big squeeze! In the picture below she is having a wedding for PB bear and Aurora (mary's bear). In Kindergarden they each get turns to take PB bear home with them and read and do different activities with him, you then get to write PB's adventures in the journal and bring him back to school and report to the class what he did. It is very exciting in a 5 year olds world! So Mary thought PB needed to get married! So here is there little ceremony and photo shoot. Was really cute. When she got to school the next day, her teacher Mrs. Long asked her if PB was going to miss his new wife. Mary responded: "no, he can come back and visit!"

Bff's at the beach!

I just love these girls they are so sweet and fun! And they are growing up too fast. This last weekend they made their own pj pants while we were at the beach! They did great! Will post some pics of them soon.
