Pumpkin Carving Frenzy!

Well Halloween has come and gone.. We carved pumpkins this year in a frenzy this year. As we were going to walk out the door for trick or treating Eliza remembered about carving pumpkins. I thought we would just not do it this year but that was unacceptable for Eliza. Here are a few pic's from our carving frenzy.

Ashley was here with us and good thing she really helped us get through all 3 pumpkins quickly!!

Mary's contribuiton was to eat the raw pumpkin pieces. She loved EATING them;)

Halloween Party

This was our Ward Halloween Party! The kids had so much fun!!

Last Soccer Game

Today was Eliza's last soccer game for the season.... They did really well. I unfortunately was to consumed with my sideline duties that I neglected to take any pictures of them playing but here are a couple shots from the post game party!!

Touring Washington DC

Mary and I went to Washington DC to see Grandma and Grandpa John.

We are having a good time. So much to see and so little time. Today we quickly walked through the Air and Space Museum and stood outside the Capitol Building. We also so the Lincoln, Jefferson, Washington, Korean, Vietnam and WWII Memorials. We are riding the Metro Rail and using a Tour bus to get around. We also stood in line for about and hour to get into the National Archives to see the Declaration of Independence and The Bill of Rights etc.. only to find you had to wait in another at least hour line to actually see these documents. Wow!! Needless to say we ran out of time:(

Washington DC is beautiful we had a great time!!

Trampoline Fun!!

After soccer today we brought Lauryn home with us and the girls had fun jumping on the trampoline together;-}

Mary Scarlet loved the trampoline, when the girls first got on she couldn't stop laughing ,.....cutie!!

My First Blog

this is my first blog. I have wanted to start one for fun and for a show and tell journal. I have always wanted to journal but it seemed to take so long so i have found a way to make it fun for me and the reader. so here goes with a recap of Sept 2006 to see a picture larger just click on it :)

Eliza's first day of school was very exciting for her but not for mom :( It was beautiful outside so we walked to school with the sewels

a week after school started we went camping with the dressers....

the beach was covered with tons of whole sand dollars and we were able to collect a few......

a few weeks after school stared we got to go to Alyssa's wedding in California. Eliza found a new friend there,.......Ginny
